Rocio Araujo

Hello, I'm a Guatemalan Mestiza, a seasoned architect, designer, and artist with more than two decades of experience. My architectural journey has been diverse, encompassing the preservation of historical landmarks and UNESCO World Heritage sites, as well as exploring contemporary approaches like sustainable and personalized home design. I specialize in bio-construction and vernacular architecture, employing ancient building techniques with lime, rammed earth, and natural materials to create environmentally conscious and energy-efficient spaces.

As  a nature being, I also work with the energies of plants and trees, tapping into the natural world's wisdom to enhance the well-being of the spaces I design. Additionally, my studies in permaculture have informed my approach to landscaping, allowing me to integrate sustainable and regenerative principles into outdoor spaces.

My goal is to blend innovative design with a holistic and nature-inspired philosophy. I look forward to sharing my expertise and collaborating with you to create spaces that beautifully merge design and the environment while promoting health, wellbeing and sustainability.
